Abstract
The present investigation was designed to evaluate the dangerous effects of the drainage of the dyestuffs and chemicals company in the area kafer El dawar the cat fish clarias lazera. in order to achieve such a purpose, clarias lazera were selected from a relatively unpolluted source and exposed to different concentrations of dyestuffs effluent. the effluent used was a complex mixture of several metals and hydrocarbons.the effluent was near-neutral, strongly colored and highly ecotoxic with a COD content of 240 mg/L.96 hLC. lazera exposed to the effluent was found to be 35%.
