Abstract
The pesent investigation was carried out during 1999/2000 and 2000/2001 seasons on the second and third rations of Williams bananas grown in a private farm located at Wasta district, Beni-Suef Governorate. All plants were spaced at 3 x 3m .Forty stools of Williams banana plants were chosen and every stools contain two plants. This experiment included ten treatments, every one represented with four replicates, each replicate contain one stool of Williams banana plants which contained two plants for yielding in the current season and two plants for yielding in the following seasons.
This investigation aimed to evaluate the effect of biofertilizers and organic manure as a sources of nitrogen requirements for Williams banana plants to reduce the environmental pollution resulted from using chemical nitrate fertilizers which leached into the soil and transferred through the plants to the human and causes serious diseases. In addition the hazard effect of nitrate accumulation in human and animal health. This investigation encourages the production of clean cultivation which agree with the needs of present and future time, these fruits have a good quality properties to export and save foreign currency for Egypt, Therefore the national income would be increased . It makes possible the expansion in new reclaimed soils and planted with banana plants. Moreover, it could be achieved this aim on producing the other fruit crops for the export markets.
