Abstract
The present thesis deals with geology, petrology , geochemistry mineal chemistry and geochronology of different granitoid rocks covering the Dara Gharib area ( 1000km2) in the north Eastern Desert of Egypt.Geologically , the area is covered mainly by Neoproterozoic pan-African basement rocks. These rocks include metavolcanics, diorite, metasomatized granodiorite, dokhan volcanic, molasse sediments, biotite hornblende granite,alkali feldspar granite and alkali granite.
