Abstract This study was carried out over two consecutive season of 2000 and2001 on Washington navel orange trees budded on sour orange root stock in Toson Islam Bacho orchard Bani Suef governorate. This study has been designed in order to evaluate the effect of spraying different concentration of urea, NAA and ascorbic acid on vegetative growth yield as well as physical and chemical properties of Washington navel organs. The experiment involved the following three factors: 1-factor(A)comprised from three concentrations of urea namely 0.0,0.75 and 1.0%. 2-factor(B)consisted from three concentrations of NAA, 0.0,10 and 20ppm. 3- factor(C) included three concentration of ascorbic acid namely 0.0,100 and 200. Therefore, the experiment involved twenty-seven treatments both urea and ascorbic acid were sprayed three times just before first bloom just after fruit setting and at one month later while NAA was applied three times just after fruit setting and at two and three months later. The experiment was set in completely randomized block design in a split split plot arrangement with three replications each consisted one Washington Navel orange tree. concentrations of urea, NAA and ascorbic acid occupied the main plot sub plot and sub plots, respectively. |
