Abstract The present investigation was carried out at Agricultural Experimental farm, Mallawy Research Station, A.R.C. Egypt to study the effect of varieties (G.T 54/9, G. 85/37 and F. 153), seeding rates (14, 21 and 28 setts/row) and nitrogen fertilizer levels (160, 200 and 240 kg/fed)on growth, yield and yield components and juice quality including two plant crops(1996/97 and 1997/98 seasons) and its first ratoon crops(1996/97 and 1998/99 seasons). A split-split plot design with four replications was used. Varieties were randomly in main plots, seeding rates were distributed in the sub-plot and nitrogen levels were assigned to sub-sub plots. |
