Abstract
This study included 119 patients presented with colorectal cancer to the national cancer institute and treated by laparoscopic resection between January,200 and December ,2005
116 parients were treated aiming at curative resection and 3 patients had palliative resection due to presentation w2ith liver metastasis.
the study included 54 males and 62 females , all of them were followed up for a minimum of 36 month.
the aim of the study was to evaluate the short and long term outcome of laparoscopic assisted colorectal resection for colorectal cancer compared to the published international results.
