Abstract

The problem of surface roughness analysis involves difficulty and complication in its nature Surface roughness measurement for the purpose of achieving more economical production oved products havin.g surface te::dttre which best suit their c purpose. There is now a gruwiJ1,.g realization that a closer over the firdsh of linportant parts of mechanisms may well practice not only to better functionirlb performance but  increase of the service life of the parts involved. vel’, it is not always sufficient merely ~o go on improving Dish of parts in order to ensure progressively better ance .
surface rou.ghness of the machined parts brought about the l’ studyir~ the different factores affecting the roughness parts. machini.ng conditioI1S ai’fe:~t tho bo~h the surface quality machined po..rtstlie d.ur[~bility of the cutting tool. tool wear pIa”ss an important role in the ecnomics of the ing process as well as on the accuracy and surface quality machined parts.
purpose of the present ’[;ark is to investigate the effect different parameters involved in the machining of the surfaces on both the resulting surface roughness and tool i
