Abstract The present work included survey and collection of mites inhabiting soil, debris , organic manure, stored products and plants in Upper Egypt. Taxonomical studies of some gamasid genera and species were given. Results revealed the following : 1- surve showed the occurrence of 47 species belong to the families ; (suborder: Gamasida) Phytoseiidae (2 genera ;5 spp.):these are Typhlodromus pasis El-Badry , Amblyseius zaheri yousef&El-Borollosey, and A. reticulates Oudemans. 2-three species are considered to benew ; cheroseius aegyptiacus n.sp., pseudo oparasitus aegyptiacus n.sp. and zygoribatule n.sp. 3-these collected species can be classified to three groups according to their localities. |
