Abstract
Egypt possesses great potentialities of developing drug industry as in the

country certain plants, growing in the wild have wide application in medicine.
The investigated plants are some of these promising plants.
The following results were revealed:
.i I. Total soluble sugars percentages were higher in oven than air or sun dried
materials.
2. Tanin contents were greater 111 sun drying method than oven and air
