Abstract
The problem of digital processing of ultraonic signals by processing the reflected analog signals from soft tissues has been investigated by many researchers.
In the present thesis the reflected ultrasonic signals from soft tissues are examined to determine the acoustic parameters which discriminate between healthy and diseased tissues and their temerature and frequency dependence.
These parameters are used to build up a nonlinear digital model for the investigated soft tissues.The output of this model is then compared with experimental results.
