Abstract
In Egypt, cotton plants are heavily infested with certain insect pests,
of which the cotton leafworm, spodoptera littoralis (Boisd) is most
serious.
The present work was carried out to clarify certain basic concepts
dealing with the insect ecology and toxicology.
