Abstract
This report about steam power plant boilers and consists of five chapters. Chapter one consists of general introduction containing its type, ignition ways, fuel types and heat exchanger with water.
Chapter two contains main component boiler and explain this component from economizer, superheaters, reheaters, drum, water wall and injection system and so contain air combustion and fuel firing from igniters, atomizing, forced draft fans, flue gas recirculation, air preheater and pressurized furnace fan.
Chapter three talk about boiler control presenting general introduction about different control ways and control unit ways (boiler and turbine) and then explain about boiler control and its types like control for level in drum, feed water flow, superheater temp., and then explain operation requirement to operate the boiler in start-up and continue.
Chapter four explain abnormal condition for problem, causes and solving like low and high level in drum, water leakage in wall, high pressure, forced draft fans trip, air preheater problem, fir in air preheater and loss of flam.
Chapter five consists of recent development and instruments and control ways in boiler explaining useful this way at rise efficiency and high response for lead change
