Abstract
This report about Basic Gas Turbine plant power plant and consists of five chapters. Chapter one consists of general introduction containing the basic thermodynamic cycle and the main components for the gas turbine the compressor, the combustion chamber the power turbine
Chapter two contains the lube oil system and its components oil pump, oil filters, oil cooler, control device and instrument and the fuel system components and type of fuel.
Chapter three contains the starting system for the gas turbine like pneumatic starter and hydraulic starter.
Chapter four explain the control systems and the protective system for the gas turbine for abnormal condition like high temperature, over speed and vibration monitoring system to measure and control the up normal vibration.
Chapter five consists of ignition system, enclosure, ventilation and the exhaust system for the gas turbine.
