Abstract
Aim of the work
1- To study the different therapeutic approaches to “redicision” as being applied in group psychotherapy setting.
2- Evaluation of the use of these therapeutic approaches as implied on the individual group member and the therapy group as a whole.
Conclusion
The research was held between (14-10-2000) and (28-9-2003) for the aim of study of the redicision in group treatment as applied in dynamic interactive therapy groups.
Ten (10) sessions were selected from the group psychotherapy program to be studied. The selected session were subjected to detailed qualitative analysis for their structure and functions and how they serve the redicision process.
Two main techniques were used in selected session: Gestalt therapy techniques and transactional analysis techniques.
The used techniques were found to be formed of a hierarchy that go step in the decision making process to finally reach the final step that is the decision or redicision.
