Abstract
This Thesis is entirely the work of EI-Sayed
B.dr EI-Sayed, and no part of it had been submitted before for a degree in this or in any other University.
The author was granted a B.Sc. degree with the Grade ”Very good”, Class of Honour, from the Department of M.rine Engineering and Naval Architecture, University of Alexandria, 1969, followed by • Diploma in Ocean Engineering from the same Department in 1979, followed
by • Diploma in Production Engineering, Department of Production Engineering in 1982, University of Alexandria.
In addition to the Research Project described in this thesis, he also pursued a course of advanced studies in Probability and Statistics, Electronic Computation and advanced FORTRAN Programming, Shipyard Technology, Ship structural Design and Special Topic.
