Abstract A total of 50 random market raw milk samples were collected for detection of organochlorine and organophosphours pesticide residues. the obtained results reveal that alpha-HCH , lindane ,P-P-DDT , P-P-DDD , P-P-DDE , dieldrin .heptachlor .heptachlor epoxide,diazinon and malathion were detected in examined raw milk samples .On the other hand , aldrine and dimethoate were not detected in all examined milk samples. Also, the results of experimental study clearly point out that the maximum levels of diazinon ’in milk was obtained at 6 hours after spraying and not detected after 48 hours. Moreover, bolling and yoghurt processing had a significant effect in degradation of diazinon residues .The public health significance as well as the necessary measures to control such problem were discussed |
