Abstract
Cardiovascular disease and stroke are leading causes of death and the prevalence of these disease continues to increase. Recent studies reported the inf luence of plasm a cholesterol levels on the othersclerotic process.There has b een a public health focus on the effect of altering cholesterol levels by diet and other life style behavior progression and developm ent of cardio vascular disease.Dietary m odification rem ains the preferred initial treatment option for improving lipid risk factor.
