Abstract
Mobile agent technology offers a new computing paradigm in which a program, in the form of a software agent, can suspend its execution on a computer host, transfer itself to another agent-enabled host on the network, and resume execution on the new host.
The objective of the thesis is to search, study, and try to find a new solution for a part of control and security algorithms.
This thesis makes an overview of control mechanisms. An algorithm for controlling the mobile agents is proposed, i.e. mechanisms locating, terminating and orphan detection in a mobile agent system.
Also in this thesis we provide an overview of security threats, identify generic security objectives, and exhibit the measure of countering the identified threats. We propose a security algorithm to solve a malicious host problem.
We construct a simple mobile agent system to evaluate proposed control and security algorithms.
Finally the performance analysis and evaluation of the proposed system is addressed by using analytical and simulation techniques.
