Abstract The present tendency of power transmission is to increase the distance between generation stations and consumers. In this case, the amount of power will be very large.Then, a new concept for the transmission of large blocks of power should be created. The long transmission lines with the utilization of mutual capacitance between phases of double circuit lines are proposed. The analytical analysis is presented.
