Abstract
this study which involved a repressentative sample of medical at the university of alexandria has been designed to:1- determine the prevalence rate of overweight and obesity among medical students.2- reveal the pattern of body fat distribution of medical students as expressed by waist circumference and waist/hip ratio.3- portray the pattern of dietary behaviour of medical students both quantitatively and qualitatively.4- determine the relation of different correlates with overweight and obesity among medical students.
