Abstract The present study was executed during two successive seasons of 2005 / 2006 and 2006 / 2007 at the experimental farm and in the laboratory of Faculty of Agriculture, Minia University to investigate the response of fennel plants to FYM and mineral biofertilizers, as well as, antioxidants treatments in terms of vegetative growth traits, seed yield and volatile oil yield and chemical composition. In this regard, two factors were examined, the first factor (A) was FYM at 15, 30 and 45 m3 / fed., while, the second factor (B) was biofertilizers and / or antioxidants, as well as, mineral NPK. Also, the interaction between the two factors (A×B) was tested. For the bio–organic cultivation system (clean agriculture). it could be recommended, economically and environmentally, to adding FYM at 45 m3 / fed. to the soil of fennel plants and treating the fennel plants with nitrobein + phosphorein + salicylic acid + ascorbic acid (biofertilizers + antioxidants). |
