The results of this study showed that:
Ln the group treated with laparoscopic bilateral multiple ovarian drilling :
Twenty patients (80%)showed regular menstrual cycles, regular ovulation occurred in 19 patients (76%) ,9 patients (36%) achieved pregnancies and of the12 patients examined by 2nd look laparoscopy, in 6 of them (50%) dense and vascular adhesions were found which were lyses during the laparoscopy.
In the group treated with laparoscopic unilateral single ovarian drilling:
Sixteen patients (59.4%) showed regular cycles, 14 patients (51.9%)regular ovulation occurred, examined by 2nd look laparoscopy, in only one patient (607%) minimal a vascular adhesions were found. The adhesions were easily lyses during laparoscopy.
In the group treated with laparoscopic bilateral single ovarian drilling:
Eleven patients (7303%)showed regular cycles, in 10 patients (66.7%) regular ovulation occurred, 4 patients(26.7%)achieved pregnancies and of the 10 patients were examined by 2nd look laparoscopy, only in one patient (10%) minimal and a vascular adhesions were found. the adhesions were easily lyses during laparoscopy.
Ln the group treated with laparoscopic unilateral single ovarian biopsy:
Nine patients (75%) showed regular cycles,9 patients also (75%) regular ovulationoccurred,2 patients (16.7%) achieved pregnancy and 8 patients examined by 2nd look laparoscopy, in5 patients (62.5%) dense vascular adhesions were found. The adhesions were lyses during laparoscopy.
