Abstract
The present work aimed to evaluate the role of scoring systems and radiological examination in assessing the severity as well as predicting the outcome of vascular injuries of the extremities in patients admitted to Emergency Department in Alexandria Main University Hospital within si* months duration.
The study entailed 136 patients with liauma to the estremilics who were admitted to Kmer^ency Department from the first of May till the end of October All patients were subjected to through history taking, clinical examination, radiological, heamato log teal and biochemical investigations and finally three scoring systems were applied and used for assessment
