Abstract
Flunixin meglumine is one of the non-steroidal antiflammatory drugs produced by Schering-Plough Animals Health USA.it was approved in 1977 by The FDA for use in horses. The aim of the present work was to study the effect of flunixin meglumine on fertility in male rabbits. Some biochemical as well as histopathological and haematological studies were also investigated. In this work, rabbits were divided into two groups each of 16 animals. The first group was injected with flunixin meglumine (2.5 1kg b.wt. I.M.) daily for 14 days. The second group was kept as a control. Four rabbits from each control and treated groups were arificed after 1, 2 weeks and 1, 2 months from drug administration.
