Abstract
The aim of the present study was to investigate the ossible role played by inhibin hormone in the regulation oF eproductive function in male and female rats. .1 For this purpose the following experiment were carriedbrout:— Experiment 1 : Effect of inhibin ( in steroid — free bovine foNicular fluid) on testicular spermatogenic function of male rats subjected to testicular—heat treatment:— Fifty adult male albino rats, three months age ere used. Their scrota were completely submerged in water bath ( 43 ± 0.5°C for 15 mm. ). The rats were I/P njected with inhibin ( 250 ul steroid— free bovine follicular fluid / 100 g BW / day, for 7 days. 2 weeks after testicular—heat treatment ). The animals were killed and
examined after 3;4;6;9;17 weeks post testicular—heat
treatment. The weight of testes was increased after 3 weeks
