Abstract
A total of 384 samples of air, water, litter and feed samples were collected from eight poultiy farms located at Menofia and Qualubia governorates. The samples were examined to evaluate their sanitary quality.
The obtained results were as follow:
1. The ambient temperature (°C)
The ambient temperature in poultry farms in both Menofia’ and Qualubia g were nearly similar in their values in the four seasons Spring, Summer, Autumns and Winter where the mean values in Qualubia V govemorate were 24.1± 1.2, 31.9 ± 1.3, 21.2 ± 1.3 and 17.1 ± 12.1
(°C),respectively and in Menofia govemorate were 24.2 ± 1.1, 32.1 ± 2.3, 21.3 ± 2.1 and 16.6 + 3.2, respectively.
L•2. The relative humidity (%)
V The highest value was in Qualubia in Winter season where the mean
value was 79.7 ± 2.3% and the lowest value in Menofia in Summer season ..re the mean value was 55.7 ± 1.1%.
Carbon dioxide
The highest value was in poultry farms of Qualubia governorate where the mean value was 0.93 ± 0.4% at Winter while the lowest value
