Abstract
the objective of this research is to study the effect of the geometrical parameters of perforated breakwater on wave characteristics. the geometrical parameters are : the percentage and distribution of perforations over all the wall (non uniformporosity), the spacing between two walls in series with different characteristics breakwater with chamber) and the degree of inclination of both front and back walls. this study presents an experimental work aiming at studying the effect of the previously stated geometrical parameters on wave transmission and wave reflection for a variety of incident wave characteristics.
