Abstract Examination of 1227 foec2l samples of pigeons of different aees from different distinats in Sharkin Governorate rt:vcaled infection rate. w L th pigeons coccidia renched 55.4%. The incidence rate of coccidin •among pigeons of different ages wes 57.9% and 52.6% among those of more thnn 4 months and squnbs of 20 - 30 days old respectively, Squabs under 15 da.ys old did not show any 000yets in their f~eces. The seasonal inoidence of Eim8rin species among pigeons was 60.;%, 56.5%, 54.0% and 54,1% during the summer, spz-Lng , autumn and winter aon s ons respectively The incidence of coccidia was higher among ndult pigeons during the surme.r aea son, then follovve(1 by the winter, spring and Lae t.Ly cut um., where it rC:::1ched 69.0, 58.0, 57.0 ond 48 .os:~ respectively. But among squabs it was 58.0, 55.0, 47.0, and 51.0% during the spring, autumn, winter and surmoz- season respectively.
