Abstract Adolescence period is a unique stage in the process of growth and development. Adolescent often determine their own food intake, because their food choices are reflection of many factors for example family eating pattern media influences, appetite, food availability and the nutritional quantity of adolescent’s diet. This study aim to; 1- Evaluate the nutritional status of ”40” obese adolescents (20 male and 20 female). 2- Study the effect of some products from red algae on blood glucose level. 3- Estimate the effect of red algal products on blood and liver lipids. 4- Evaluate the effect of red algal product on liver and kidney functions. 5- Determine the serum minerals and serum iron indices in obese male and female adolescents. This work design using the follow methods: 1- Preparation of red algae 2- Preparation of shami bread 3- Preparation of tamiaa 4- Design of work |
