Abstract
Introduction The aim of education is to find individuals who are able to invent and discover rather than to redo what others have achieved. That is why constructive learning which is learner-based appeared.
Learning is an active and purposeful constructive process which includes reconstructing the individual’s knowledge through new information and experience and the social negotiation with others to adapt tocognitive pressures caused by the self organization process (assimilation and accommodation) to achieve cognitive balance.
Constructivism is considered the approach to teaching and learning which is based on the fact that learned knowledge results from the assimilation of the new information with the existing information the learner has achieved.
Construction learning as a method of learning affects the learner’s point of view concerning knowledge and his attitudes and beliefs.
Because beliefs are considered a group of points of view and idea about the source of knowledge, its construction and organization, how far it is correct and how it is acquired and achieved, pupils’ acquisition of cognitive beliefs, whether sophisticated or naïve, depends upon the method used by the teacher in teaching his school subject. Thus, constructive learning affects the developing of epistemological beliefs because it modifies the cognitive epistemological structure of the learner and consequently changes his point of view concerning knowledge and his epistemological beliefs
