Abstract The aim of the prescnt study was to find out the diferent surgical affections of the skin in certain farm ani.ma].s. The clinical cases were gathered from different localities including the veterinary clinic at I;dfina Veterinary Faculty, Animal health center at Behira P:Lovince, Agricultural farm at Alexandria University and the veterinary clinic at Assiut Veterinary Faculty. All cases were thoroughly examined and clinically diaiiosed. 427 animals representing different spcie2 I were found to be afected with variable skin lesions as follows, cutaneous papilJ.orna (18 cases) squaaious cell carcinoma (8 cases) and fibrorna (5 cases), excoriations (65 caee), gells(16 cases), sorebacka (21 cases), oedema— tous skin disease (15 ceses), ringworiu lesions (61 cases), teil necrosis (]7 cases), eczema (9 cases), dermatitis (27 cases), hype::eratosis (13 cases), alopecia (21.cases), cutaneous and subcutaneour injuries (88 cases) and fibrotic lesions (43 cases). All co1lectec cses were fully dealt with and trials for the treatment were successfully carried out either by surgicel or conservative intereference. |
