Abstract
Myocardial infarction is considered one of the serious clinical problems. It is associated with ischaemic necrosis of cardiac muscles as a results of disparity between the oxygen requirement of the myocardium and insuffiency of the coronary arteries to meet it. If it is not treated perfectly, it leads to death. Over the last 20 years, the use of garlic and other natural products had a good role in prevention and treatment of many diseases as hypertension and hypercholesterolemia .The aim of this work is to study the myocardial changes after isoproterenol administration and the possible protective role of garlic histologically and histochemically.
