Abstract
Surface flashover voltage test was applied to epoxy and epoxy composites to detect the best epoxy composite under different conditions for improving electrical performance of epoxy composites.
Five groups were selected to minimize the error for dry test.
The test at others reagent was applied for one group or more because the error is very small if the test is repeated.
5.2 Methods of measurement the flashover voltage
Flashover voltage of dry test equals to the sum of flashover voltage of dry test for five groups which divided by number of groups.
If any sample of group is recorded flashover voltage value lower than the other samples of the other group at same condition within limit 10%, it is ignored.
If any sample of group is recorded flashover voltage value higher than the other samples of the other group at same condition within limit 10%, it takes as its and the flashover voltage of other samples is ignored.
