Abstract
Helminthic infections are very common in developing countries especially in
rural areas. Asthma is a common diseases in childhood and more common in
developed countries the relationship between helminthic infections and
asthma is controversial . Most studies suggest that helminths protect against
asthma and vice versa also IgE level increases with increased exposure to
allergen. This study aimed to study the relationship between asthma and
intestinal helminthes.
